WHAT IS MULTICUSTOM ?
The main word to characterize Multicustom is flexibility. Multicustom is a open architecture modular controller, that means it´s possible to insert 10 different cards modules in each Multicustom main box. Every card modules is available individually for a maximum of flexibility and simplicity.
Imagine in the same case you can combine infrared I/O, RS232, X10, relays, 0-10, VCA, digital feedback and EIB. Several indentical MCM card module can be used in the main case. The possibilities are very extended.
VITY´s touch panels can communicate with Multicustom using MBC wired bus (Multicustom/485) or LAN through MBC LAN module Multicustom/IP). The controller can also be controlled by a standard PC using Ethernet and web. Multicustom is specially designed to expand up professional installations like conferences rooms, multi-room control, residences, houses, ...
TWO MODELS
To fully respond to all your expectations, Multicustom has been developed in 2 models :
- Multicustom/IP :
Specifically developed for network use.
Communication by Ethernet on RJ45 connector 10 baseT and/or MBC bus.
Web server built-in for a remote control by Internet or Ethernet.
This version is necessary for all VITY´s Ethernet remote control or even for a PC use.
- Multicustom/485 :
Communication by MBC bus on 3 pins phoenix screw type.
Use for VITY´s MBC bus remote control : VIMATY & PADMATY series.
1 input MBC bus connector, 1 output MBC bus connector for chaining many Multicutom.
FRONT AND REAR PANELS
With Multicustom, learning an infrared code becomes very easy thanks to its front panel sensor learner. Up to 255 codes can be learnt without any specific interface.

FULLY FLEXIBLE
If your main case is full, you can link up to 16 Multicustom by a MBC bus cable (or by Ethernet for the Multicustom/IP) to ensure a full coverage of your installations requirement. It can also be linked with Multicustom, Minimono and Custo Series controllers to fully respond to the installation requirement.
Identical or different standard modules can use any standards slots. Multicustom is flexible and low cost, you can buy just what you need.
Flexibility again for the fixation because Multicustom can be integrated into a 19" rack bay (delivery with rack fixation), on a DIN rail or on a US/UK standard electric cabinet.
STAND ALONE
As XMonopro, Multicustom it has the capabilities of 1h48min of timeline management. Can be used without remote control and/or PC. It is the perfect controllers for stand-alone installations as Museums, spectacles, security, ... Can play a scenario. E.g : with a contact or a presence detection sensor you can turn on the lights & music, start video player, etc ...
Sequence starts with a single event as contact closure, presence sensor, RC 5 codes, etc.
EIB CONTROL
With its MCM EIB module you can drive devices through its dedicated bus. EIB-KNX is an international standard bus used into an electric closet to simplify the communication between the different electric commands. Thanks to the EIB module and without specific interface you can control every electrical system of a house or building (lighting, dimmers, heater, security, ...). The communication is bidrectional and use only 2 wires.
WEB CONTROL
Control your installation from anywhere. If you use a Multicustom/IP, you can transform your web browser into a virtual touch panel, the Multicustom/IP embedded java applet will be loaded into your web browser then displayed on your PC screen. Now, You just have to click to control your installation in full security. The installation can also be controlled from an Ethernet network.
